The Pine Caterpillar can cause considerable damages to an infested pine tree, but the danger for the health of humans and animals has to be considered much more important.
Combat against the Pine Caterpillar
Treatments against the pine tree caterpillar can be carried out in two ways: the - ecologically more gentle - application of the "Bazillus thuringeniensis" by spraying the tree, or by injecting an adequate insecticide into the trunk using special syringes.
